Morgan Stanley is seeking someone to join our team as a Crisis Management & Intelligence Operator to play a key role in monitoring the global threat landscape to identify and provide early warnings of emerging risks that may impact the Firm and the financial sector. You will assess intelligence and proactively produce reports on potential events requiring stakeholder engagement. In partnership with the broader team, you will manage incident response, lead triage calls, evaluate business impact, and ensure timely, accurate communications to relevant stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle.
This role requires sound judgment, composure under pressure, strong analytical skills, emotional intelligence, and situational awareness. You will help monitor emerging threats, support incident response and stakeholder communications, and contribute to after-action reviews that capture lessons learned and strengthen Firm stability.
Fusion Response is the Firm’s incident management function, leading rapid response and recovery across business continuity, cyber, technology, and geopolitical events that may affect people, locations, or infrastructure. Operating through a 24/7 follow-the-sun model across Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Baltimore, Alpharetta, London, and Glasgow, the team works closely with partners across the Firm to manage major incidents, support informed decision-making, and continuously improve resilience through a strong culture of learning, accountability, and development.

This is a Risk & Resiliency Management Manager position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What You’ll Do In The Role

- Intelligence & Threat Monitoring: Show familiarity with geopolitical, country risk, and physical security analysis, as well as current threat trends and risks to the financial sector.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft products required (with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint proficiency), familiarity with OSINT products, social media monitoring tools, incident management platforms is strongly advantageous, understanding of rapid notification systems is a plus.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Professional experience, preferably within an intelligence or crisis management function in the financial, technology, or related sector, government, law enforcement, or a military organization
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent relevant work experience)
- Master’s Degree (desired but not essential)
- The position includes periodic on-call coverage during bank holidays and weekends, typically once every 8-10 weeks depending on team staffing.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
