Geopolitical Risk Fellowship

The Geopolitical Risk Fellowship draws its inspiration from the growing importance of geopolitical risk intelligence in today’s interconnected world. It aims to empower International Relations students with opportunities to develop specialized expertise in geopolitical risk analysisstrategic intelligence, and global security studies.

Through this fellowship, we aim to cultivate the next generation of analysts, ensuring they are equipped with the analytical depth and practical insights required for successful careers in geopolitical risk consultancy and international affairs.

Fellowship Structure

EARLY STAGE (MONTHS 1-2)

Foundations

Complete onboarding and foundational modules on the Intelligence cycle, OSINT tools, and Risk assessment frameworks. Develop and submit a detailed research proposal focused on a geopolitical risk scenario.

Milestone
Research proposal approval by mentors triggers the release of the first stipend installment.
MID STAGE (MONTHS 3-4)

Analysis

Conduct in-depth research using forecasting models, structured analytical techniques, and data-driven methodologies. Produce an interim analytical report with scenario assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

Milestone
Successful progress presentation and interim report review trigger the second stipend installment.
FINAL STAGE (MONTHS 5-6)

Synthesis and Impact

Finalize a comprehensive intelligence report, policy paper, or strategic briefing. Deliver a capstone presentation and receive fellowship certification to strengthen professional portfolios.

Final Milestone
Successful completion of the final presentation unlocks the final stipend installment and formal certification.
