About the Role

As a Junior Analyst, you’ll monitor and report on regional and global political, security and travel developments. Your expertise will help identify risks and deliver tailored insights to our clients. This is a remote job with a fixed schedule. It usually aligns with local business hours, including some weekends.

What You’ll Do

  • Track and analyse global political and security developments;
  • Produce high-quality, insightful reports on specific country and city risks; and
  • Collaborate with a global team to deliver timely, accurate information under tight deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong background in international relations, political science or security studies. A postgraduate degree is preferred, but we encourage those with relevant education and strong experience to apply.
  • A strong grasp of political and security dynamics, with a focus on global or regional trends. We will consider knowledge of specific regions an asset.
  • Proven ability to produce clear, concise and polished reports in English. Proficiency in additional languages is an asset and holds great value for this role.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Knowledge in open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques and social media research, with a strong ability to gather and analyse data from diverse public sources.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and databases is highly valued. Work on challenges related to misinformation and disinformation is also valued.
